Functions

Functions describe the permissible and literal functions that a User can perform within Boston, based on their Role. One or more Functions are allocated to each Role in Boston, and Users are allocated Roles.

The set of Functions within Boston are fixed, and if you need extra Functions in Boston, for security purposes for instance, please reach out to FactEngine.

The following image shows the range of Functions available within Boston (as at Dec. 2023) and as included, for instance, within the Modeller Role.

We can see such Functions, within the range of available Functions, as the ability to create Users, alter Projects, create and delete Models, and adding Roles to Users etc.
